WinAmp is very well known player. It is currently the only one external player
supported by Songs-DB, because it is the only one that allows to be well controlled by external
applications. However you do not need to have it installed, because Songs-DB
has its own internal player. It is based on Winamp's plug-ins and skins and
also has some advantages over WinAmp (like volume normalization).
The successor of CDDB database after it became a commercial application. It
allows its users to get information about most of music CDs released all over the world.
Songs-DB supports retrieving information from this database.
Microsoft Data Access Components are used by many applications today. They come
with most versions of Windows and so you don't usually need to download them

Nero is a very popular burning software for CD and DVD media. It is very
configurable and supports a wide range of burning methods. If you have
Nero installed, you can burn audio CDs directly from Songs-DB!
Amazon is probably the best known on-line shop. It started as a largest
internet bookstore, but now sells almost everything - including all the latest
CD and DVD releases. You can browse their collection, look at audio CD covers and
even buy audio CDs directly, often for a bargain price.
